Our 2nd thematic paper focuses on the theme "Evaluating the social impact of social entrepreneurship : the need for co-creation"
We are pleased to inform you of the publication of the 2nd Thematic Paper of the VISES project.
After a first paper published in February 2017 on the theme "Observation of the social and solidarity economy, towards new challenges", this new publication focuses on the theme "Evaluating the social impact of social entrepreneurship : the need for co-creation".
During 2016, the VISES project partners did a lot of research and analysis on what exists in terms of social impact assessment, both in theory and practice. Based on this work, the partners built a first proposal for a social impact assessment and evaluation system, currently tested in 69 pilot enterprises, through a "research-action" process.
In this thematic paper, you will find a synthesis of this research work on the current situation in the realm of social impact, as well
as the arguments brought forward by the partners of the VISES project on "why" and "how" to value social impact. Finally, you will discover, at the end of the paper, the advocacy strategy built in favour of the valorisation of the social impact of the enterprises in the social and solidarity economy.
We wish you a pleasant reading of this 2nd thematic paper.
